My online maths lessons are designed for home educated children in Year 4 and Year 5 across the UK. They are ideal for families looking for structured, high-quality maths teaching at home.

Each week of the school term, I teach two live online maths lessons for Year 4 and two live online maths lessons for Year 5 using a simple, child-friendly platform. Once registered, you will receive login details to access the platform which is embedded in my website. Children can interact with me and ask questions, taking part just like they would in a classroom.

No problem at all. Every lesson is recorded and shared afterwards, so your child can catch up or revisit the learning at any time.

I cover the full Key Stage 2 maths curriculum for Year 4 and Year 5, following a small steps approach. Each live lessons covers two small steps. What would be covered over the week in a school classroom setting will be covered in my two live online lessons each week.

The maths units covered for both Year 4 and Year 5 are:

• Place value

• Addition and subtraction

• Multiplication and division

• Area

• Length and perimeter

• Fractions

• Decimals

• Money

• Time

• Shape

• Statistics

• Position and direction

Learning for Year 5 also includes negative numbers, converting units and volume.

It costs £10 per week to access the two live lessons, unlimited replay of the each recorded lessons and downloadable worksheets.

Lessons are billed in half-termly blocks, in advance:

Term 1 (6 weeks) = £60

Term 2 (7 weeks) = £70

Term 3 (6 weeks) = £60

Term 4 (5 weeks) = £50

Term 5 (7 weeks) = £70

Term 6 (6 weeks) = £60

Half-termly blocks enables you to cancel anytime before the next block.

Each live lesson is approximately 45 minutes long.

Year 4 live lessons start at 9:30am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays of the school term. Year 5 live lessons start at 11am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays of the school term*.

Absolutely. I encourage children to ask questions during the live sessions via the chat feature, so I can address misunderstandings straight away and support their learning. Only I will see the chat messages so students are not distracted from their learning.

Yes - each lesson comes with a downloadable worksheet to help reinforce learning and provide extra practice at home.

As an experienced Primary Teacher, I focus on building confidence, addressing common misconceptions, and helping children make real progress, all within a supportive and engaging environment. Having an engaging Teacher in front of the camera, teaching as I would in front of a classroom achieves better outcomes than working through a dry textbook.

Children in Year 4 and Year 5 should be able to access the lesson independently, but some learners may benefit from occasional support. Parents are always welcome to be nearby if needed.
